Crabtree Swamp is in the planning/presentation stages of a restoration project with Horry Co., City of Conway, DNR, FWL, Santee Cooper, DHEC, Soil & Water Conservation District, Waccamaw Watershed Academy/CCU, and adjacent property owners. First stage is for floodplain formation between Hwy 501 and Oak St. Extension in Conway.
